SHAME ON PRICE CHOPPER
"I'm the primary caregiver for my partner's Grandmother. She is 77 years old and nonambulatory, which means I can shop for her between 6am and 7am.
You didn't have ANYTHING that was needed.
You had elderly people standing outside in the rain waiting, and when you opened the doors, there was NOTHING there. No toilet paper, no paper towels, no bleach, no bleach wipes etc...
You know that's what these senior citizens were there for. You didn't even have the decency to walk outside to tell the people standing in this cold rain so they could try elsewhere.
We left Price Chopper and went to Hannaford across the street - they we were stocked.
After we got everything we needed, we drove back over to Price Chopper to tell everyone outside not to bother and go to Hannaford.

This is the third person I've seen encounter this situation just today. If you've had similar experiences, please let us know so we can give our elderly community a heads up.
I had several text messages from people telling me about the Cobleskill location price gouging people. I suggested they reach out to NYS AG to file a formal complaint. $7.50 for one can of Lysol, and $7.00 for two rolls of paper towels. One woman made a call to Price Chopper's head office, confirmed the prices were way too high and not what's showing in their system. She was supposed to get a call back this morning but never did. Imagine that.
I had the same experience, but actually had little expectation of finding anything other than empty shelves, so - rather than arrive early and wait in line - I planned my arrival for a few minutes after the doors were scheduled to open for senior shopping. For what it's worth, I overheard another shopper ask about TP, and the manager on duty said that they were expecting a shipment tonight.
