Girl Gone Smart: The real meaning of "TDS"

Of course, my first post in a while is going to be short and sweet with regard to the latest news about Epstein, but there's always one thing Donald Trump supporters keep posting everywhere: TDS. In their world, it means "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

Unfortunately for them, the meaning of TDS has changed to "Trump Denial Syndrome."

Those afflicted with "TDS" are Trump supporters who refuse to see everything directly in front of them. And honestly, if that's all you can say/post instead of anything remotely intelligent or coherent in your support of the man, you're probably someone who will never look at facts, and just continue to type stupid, useless, baseless stuff. It's you that has TDS. The rest of us are paying attention and acting accordingly. (Please note the laugh emoji on an intelligent and fact-based response is also indicative of TDS. You have nothing to say, and yet you've said it all with that one reaction.)

As a New Yorker, most of us have hated the man since his public comments about 9/11. We watched it live on television, and we want you to know it's okay to admit you made a grave mistake.

Better now, than later because history is being made and written about as I type this. Ask yourself where you want to stand within that history as you talk to your children or grandchildren when they begin learning about this time in the history of the United States of America. How do you want to be remembered?

It wasn't just women; it was children, little boys and girls as young as ten years old. You subscribed to this, you voted for this, and this is who YOU are. This is how YOU will be remembered. This is not a hoax. This is not a drill. This is real - and YOU knew.

Keep in mind that most of us "Dems" and "Libs" want whoever was involved to be investigated, charged, prosecuted, and punished accordingly regardless of a person's political affiliation. Expose them ALL. But you? You bend yourself into impossible shapes to justify and rationalize your choice in a man who never hid who or what he is. You weren't deceived and you weren't misled. Own it - because what is happening now (and what happened then) is also on you. You have a responsibility to read through everything and if your mind doesn't change - again - it's on you.

Being intelligent means learning new information and a willingness to change your mind. Will you be welcomed back into the folds of the family or friends who removed you from their lives? Who knows? But I wish you good luck for what is coming.
